Creativity has never been something we leave at the office. It doesn’t only live in billboards, films, identities or the brands we help build. For us, it’s a culture — a way of seeing things, bringing people together and finding new places for ideas to exist.

That’s why, at the end of every year, we make something just for us.

The Every-Year Jacket is a Bipolar tradition: a limited piece created to celebrate the people who have been part of our year — our team, collaborators, clients, friends and everyone who somehow made the ride a little better.

Every edition starts with a simple idea. We invite a local artist whose work and point of view we admire and give them a brief that is intentionally wide open: Bipolar. Our name, our personality, our contradictions, our work, our people and whatever they believe the brand means from the outside looking in.

From there, it becomes theirs.

The result is never meant to be corporate merchandise. Each jacket is an artist’s interpretation of Bipolar at a specific moment in time — translated into illustration, typography, symbols, textures and details that could only belong to that particular year.

In a way, it becomes a wearable time capsule.

A piece that carries the energy of twelve months filled with pitches, shoots, deadlines, ideas that worked, ideas that didn’t, late nights, great conversations and all the small moments in between that rarely make it into a case study.

We make them in limited quantities and give them to the people closest to us. There’s nothing to sell, no media plan behind them and no KPI waiting at the end. Just a good object, made with intention, to say thank you.
